Rod Stewart has denied reports he wants to get a vasectomy after fathering an eighth child.

British press claimed last month the aging rocker, who already has seven children, will undergo the operation after he and fiancée Penny Lancaster have a second child together.

But before his appearance on German TV show 'Wetten, Dass?' recently, he denied the reports insisting: "(That was) made up.

"All I said in an interview was that after the birth of an eighth child no more trains will leave the station."

Stewart and Lancaster plan to get married next year.
