Despite her public battle with Tom Cruise over the use of anti-depressants, Brooke Shields has become close friends with his fiancée Katie Holmes.

Cruise slammed Shields for using medication to treat her postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter Rowan, but apologised to the actress in August for his comments.
