Stones cancel more gigs

The Rolling Stones have disappointed more fans by cancelling an upcoming concert in Hawaii and rescheduling three other performances.

The rock veterans are already facing a $51m (€40m) fan lawsuit after they axed their concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey at short notice on Friday, when singer Mick Jagger fell ill with a throat infection.

Now a November 22 date scheduled for Honolulu's Aloha Stadium - the band's first in Hawaii since 1998 - has been scrapped too, although it is unknown why.

The second North American leg of their Bigger Bang world tour will now end on November 25 in Vancouver, Canada, which was due to host the Brown Sugar hitmakers on Friday.

Shows in Oakland, California and Los Angeles will also be pushed back until 6 and 22 November respectively.

However, The Rolling Stones' rescheduled Hallowe'en show at New York's Beacon Theater, which is being taped for a DVD by director Martin Scorcese, will go ahead tonight.
