Wesley Snipes charged with failing to file tax returns

Movie actor Wesley Snipes has been charged with failing to file income tax returns and conspiring to defraud the US Internal Revenue Service, the agency said today.

Snipes, 44, was also charged with presenting a fraudulent claim for payment to the IRS, the agency said in announcing the eight-count indictment in Tampa Bay, Florida.
