Coppola wants babies - so she can eat cake

Pregnant Marie Antoinette director Sofia Coppola wants to have more children - especially as pregnancy allows the star to feast on cakes.

Coppola, who is expecting her first child with French rocker Thomas Mars in December, admits she doesn't want her offspring to grow up as an only child.

She says: "I've been working for so long that motherhood has been on the back burner but now it's pretty much the only thing on my mind and I don't think this baby will be an only child. There will definitely be more.

"Besides, it's nice to have an excuse to eat cake all the time."
