Another animated animal yarn - requiring three directors, no less - to join the growing list of such aimed-at-the-kiddies films.

This one, alas, is not as good as most of its forerunners since few of the woodland creatures really manage to appeal and the script is merely so-so.

The plot concerns a bear and a deer who find themselves cast adrift in the trees during hunting season. They enlist the help of their fellow creatures to turn the tables on the men with guns.

You get the feeling that you've seen this sort of thing before, only much better.

The jokes are weak; the animation itself is merely adequate.
