Katie Holmes is shedding weight in a bid to look perfect in her wedding dress, according to insiders.

Tom Cruise’s fiancée is apparently desperate to get rid of the excess pounds after having the couple’s baby daughter, Suri.

A source tells MSNBC: “Katie has lost a lot of weight – a lot. I’ve heard that Tom was eager to get her back into shape. Looks like she made him happy - and then some.”

The actor’s spokesperson Arnold Robinson will only confirm the LA-based pair are due to be hitched sometime before the end of this year.
