Burrell slams Hasselhoff's princess-crush claims

Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, has slammed David Hasselhoff’s claims the late princess had a crush on the recently-divorced Baywatch star.

“There was never, ever any hint of any date or romance between the two of them. Such a suggestion is as far-fetched as a talking car called Kitt,” he told the New York Daily News.

However, Paul confirmed David sent an autographed photo to Princes William and Harry.

"The signed photo was of him in his Baywatch pose – all trunks and hairy chest,” he said.

“I remember the princess laughing hysterically at the photo and turning her nose up.”
