Allen blasts Jamelia for ordering 'clean' album

Lily Allen has slammed Jamelia for requesting a specially-made child-friendly version of her debut album for her young daughter.

Superstar singer Jamelia's six-year-old girl Teja is a big fan of Allen's songs, but her mother was concerned about the adult references on Allen's Alright, Still album.

So Jamelia made her record label Parlophone, who also represent Allen, create a unique one-off children's version of the album, which recently topped the charts in the UK - much to Allen's irritation.

Allen tells MTV: "Maybe she should pay for that to get done herself. It's not coming out of my expenses! I think the more you shelter your children from that kind of stuff the more they're curious about it.

"It's the same with drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, the more you say: 'No,' the more they think: 'Maybe I should try some.' I think, just be honest with them from the start."
