Dad keeps DiCaprio sane

Leonardo DiCaprio credits his father George with keeping him in touch with the real world.

The Titanic star dislikes intrusive Hollywood culture - and relies on his dad to give him a fresh perspective on life.

DiCaprio says: "He has always veered me towards things you don't commonly see in the world, and that goes for art and politics.

"He's always tried to give me a different perspective, a different outlook on things. He's heavily influenced me in my career as well."
