A winner of the Jury and Audience Awards at the Sundance Festival, this sweet and sincere tale has a gripping charm.

The story concerns 15-year-old Magdalena (Rios) who on her birthday discovers she’s pregnant. Her family toss her out and she fetches up with an uncle and gay cousin.

Well-developed characters hold our attention and Rios is excellent.
