British actress Sienna Miller was left red-faced when the designer gown she was wearing at the opening of a New York opera tore just below her bust.

The Casanova star was attending the opening night of Madama butterfly on Monday when a gaping hole appeared in her silver silk and organza outfit, by British designers Marchesa.
