Six weeks after announcing her separation from Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, Kate Hudson is ready to make the split permanent by filing for divorce.

The couple separated on August 14 amid rumours that Hudson was romantically involved with her You, Me And Dupree co-star Owen Wilson.
