Hammond doctors suffers 'significant brain injury'

It has been announced that TV presenter Richard Hammond suffered a “significant brain injury” after the dragster he was driving crashed at Elvington airfield yesterday.

Doctors are “reasonably optimistic he will make a good recovery” however, according to a Leeds General Infirmary spokesperson.
