Kudrow hurt by designer dress criticism

Former Friends star Lisa Kudrow was left hurt and stunned when Hollywood's fashion police poked fun at her for daring to wear a designer dress to an awards show just after giving birth.

The stinging backlash aimed at the actress ruined her 1994 Emmy celebrations after she picked up a Best Supporting Actress prize.

"It was right after I had my son so I had a little extra weight on and I wore a dress I thought was nice, it was fine," she said. "It was Chanel".

"Unfortunately I won, so that put me on stage and I was ridiculed for having a little extra weight… I was like: 'Oh my God, they're just so mean…' I didn't look that bad."
