Another film based on a computer game, which means that we get lots of mindless and bloody action and very little plot. The game is everything.

What storyline there is concerns Princess Kasumi (Aoki) entering the deadly DOA tournament in order to find out what happened to her missing brother.

As if all of this mattered since all that is important is the action.
