U2 and Green Day to perform at New Orleans Superdome

Rockers U2 and Green Day will stage a National Football League (NFL) pre-game performance on the 25 September for the official reopening of the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The show will precede the game between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta, Georgia Falcons, the first event in the Superdome since Hurricane Katrina turned the battered stadium into a makeshift shelter for flood victims.
