McCartney cabin still facing demolition

Paul McCartney still faces the prospect of having his beloved log cabin torn down, despite having been convinced he had won the battle to keep it.

The singer, 64, built the secluded hideaway in 2002 on his sprawling estate in East Sussex, England, and has been trying to secure retrospective planning permission from Rother District Council this year.
