Metcalf to get record deal?

Hollywood heart throb Jesse Metcalfe's dreams of a rock career came one step closer to coming true after he recorded four demos during a trip to the UK.

The Desperate Housewives hunk is reported to sound like Jon Bon Jovi - and record companies are eager to sign the actor, who is currently dating UK Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle.

Metcalfe says: "I may do it as more than a hobby… it just depends on what happens in the future. But it's very flattering to get this far."

However, Coyle is not so enthusiastic about Metcalfe's potential music career, insisting a duet with him would be "cheesy".

Coyle adds: "It might work better in the US than here."
