McCartney in peace talks with Mills

Paul McCartney and his estranged wife Heather Mills have spent 40 minutes alone together in a desperate attempt to end their bitter divorce battle amicably.

The former Beatle reportedly invited Mills into his US holiday home in East Hampton on Wednesday after she picked up their three-year-old daughter Beatrice.
