Barry Manilow recovering after surgery on both hips

Barry Manilow was recovering at his Palm Springs home in a wheelchair following surgery on both hips, but should be walking by the end of the week, his publicist said.

“Being in a wheelchair would naturally be the case two days after surgery,” publicist Carol Marshall said. “He’s doing great. He’s still on a high from winning an Emmy.”
