Desperate Housewives actor James Denton says the hit show is "too dark" for the Emmy nomination of Best Comedy.

The Hollywood hunk, who plays plumber Mike Delfino, believes Desperate Housewives fails to fit comfortably in the funny genre, which is why it missed out.
