Dire thoughts of impending doom dog Meryl (Clarke) in this so-so drama from Oz … and a lot of other things are packed into the plot.

This creates the problem of not leaving enough time to allow the characters and storyline to develop properly.

The playing is good but ultimately we wonder where it’s all leading to.
