Reeves stopped by police at Los Angeles airport

Film star Keanu Reeves was stopped by police at Los Angeles Airport on Saturday after reportedly running a red light.

The actor was pulled over for the traffic violation and released with a warning, according to website TMZ.com.

The airport is on a heightened security alert after the recently foiled terrorist plot at London's Heathrow airport.

Reeves was pulled over on the upper level of the airport designated for departing passengers.
