Superstar rapper Kanye West has proposed to his girlfriend, according to media reports in the US.

The Gold Digger hitmaker popped the question to long-term partner Alexis during a recent trip abroad, writes American magazine People.

Details about the 29-year-old's alleged fiancée are thin on the ground, but it is known she stuck by him following his near-fatal 2002 car crash which inspired his hit single Through the Wire.
