A furious Kanye West threw a tantrum at last weekend's Lollapalooza festival in Illinois after a technical problem marred his set, according to US reports.

The superstar rapper was performing at the Grant Park extravaganza in his hometown of Chicago on the Saturday when the sound was suddenly cut.
