Extras make up for Scary Movie shortcomings

THE very successful franchise that is Scary Movie has played the slasher genre for laughs and made millions into the bargain, but there are signs the well is running dry in Scary Movie 4 (BVHE, €22.99).

The plot, involving a ghost and aliens, seems almost too daft for words.

On the plus side, there are excellent special features, including an audio commentary from director David Zucker, etc, deleted and extended scenes with optional commentary from Zucker, etc, bloopers, a featurette on Zucker, visual FX and others.
