Portman takes on prostitute role in comedy

Natalie Portman is set to play a prostitute in her new movie.

The actress is reportedly auditioning for the role of a troubled hooker in dark comedy 'Johnny Postal'.

If she gets the part, she will star alongside Blondie singer Deborah Harry who is to play a "sex-crazed, biker past her prime".

Another music star confirmed for the film is DJ Roger Sanchez who plays a "drug-dealing pimp".

Shooting on the movie starts this coming autumn and will take place in New York and New Jersey.
