If you’re going to break up with your girlfriend, make sure she isn’t a really miffed super heroine. Bad things can happen.

Wilson plays the guy who finds, and then chucks, his girlfriend (Thurman) who just happens to be G-Girl. And boy is she miffed.

Along comes her arch enemy (Izzard) who offers the harassed boyfriend a chance to get rid of her once and for all.

Alas, soon into the film we suddenly realise we don’t really care about any of the characters, who universally manage to grate and annoy without also trying to engage and entertain us.

Plus, if it – as we surmise – is supposed to be funny, a few jokes would have been an advantage.
