Kylie Minogue has raised concerns among pals and fans by throwing herself into a gruelling exercise regime in preparation for her upcoming Showgirl Tour dates.

The Spinning Around star has only just fully recovered from breast cancer, but she is eager to step up the pace and make her performances more exciting than ever.

She says: "You know, my energy's coming back now. I am so revved up. I can't wait to get back to my day job.

"We're changing the show. We're adding to it. It's going to be magical. It's all smoke and mirrors."
