Lee's stage ride

Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee plans to build a rollercoaster to use on stage during the band's performances on their upcoming tour.

The Wild Side rockers, who are touring America with Aerosmith this September, hope to add the theme park ride to the flying, spinning and upside-down drums that have featured in their previous shows.

Lee explains: "I want to build a rollercoaster, drop the drums on it and put two seats in the back so I can grab two fans, strap 'em in and take 'em for a ride while I'm playing. We've looked at it but it's f**king ridiculously expensive."
