Rapper/actor Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith protested against the rise in street violence in his hometown this weekend by joining a march for peace.

Charles 'Charlie Mack' Alston's annual Party 4 Peace in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania aims to raise awareness of street crime which saw 380 people killed last year alone.

Speaking at the event, Smith said: "We're going to take this walk, hopefully draw a little attention to the problem and get some solutions."

He was joined by local officials and members of the community.
