Another outing for the cartoon cat. This time he’s in London in a makeover of The Prince and the Pauper, which is as classic as this computer-generated yarn gets.

Murray voices the fat feline in his usual laconic manner but somehow the few charms of the original are missing in this tale of switched moggies, with our hero enjoying life at the top while his double (voiced by Curry) spends time with lovesick Jon (Meyer), who is trying to woo the lovely Hewitt.

Ultimately the yarn isn’t funny, relying overly on pratfalls and slapstick, and a weak script doesn’t do anything to lift the spirits.
