Where Scary Movie took all the horror out of the genre, Date Movie (Fox, €21.99) attempts to do the same, and this time the subject is romance.

Julia Jones (Alyson Hannigan) meets Mr Perfect, Grant Fockyerdoder (Adam Campbell) and then it all goes pear-shaped.

It’s an anti-romantic film. Predictable at times, this send-up of romantic comedies parodies some cliched film moments, but also delivers dollops of humour.

With 12 deleted scenes, romantic screensavers, game, gag reel and other featurettes, you’ll have enough to keep you amused.
