Doherty to have anti-drug implant fitted

Singer Pete Doherty will have an implant fitted to help him kick his drug habit, he told a court today.

The troubled Babyshambles star told Thames Magistrates’ Court, in east London, that he wants to get the opiate-suppressing implant within the next two weeks.
