Coogan company signed up by NBC

Comedian Steve Coogan's production company, Baby Cow, has been signed up to make comedy programmes for the US television network NBC.

Under the deal, shows such as 'Saxondale' and 'The Mighty Boosh' could be remade for US audiences.

The production company will also create new programmes for the network. The first programme to be produced under the deal will be called "Ben", about the richest man in the world.
