Hawn eyes career as novelist

Goldie Hawn has signed a deal to write a series of novels after the recent success of her autobiography.

Hawn, who has three children from her high profile marriages to Bill Hudson and Kurt Russell, revels in the escape from the pressures of everyday life writing allows her.

The First Wives Club actress says: "I loved writing the book. It took me into another world and then I got offered the novel deal. It's great - and such a change from acting."
