Blunt escaping limelight

James Blunt is hoping the escape the media spotlight by moving to a rural retreat in Spain.

The You're Beautiful hitmaker became a tabloid target after he split from ex-girlfriend Camilla Bowler earlier this year, following an alleged fling with British socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson. He is now dating Czech model Petra Nemcova.

A relative tells British newspaper The Sun: "He has bought this mountain and a beautiful old house.

"He wants to get away from it all. He wants to live the rural dream - with only donkeys, chickens, pigs and ducks for company."
