Sharon Osbourne broke down on the set of The X Factor when she heard that her English country mansion had been struck by a fire on Thursday, insisting her family may be "cursed".

The rock matriarch received a call from daughter Kelly, who was reportedly asleep in the house when a suspected electrical fault in a lamp started the blaze at approximately 7am.
