Take That invite Robbie to recording studio

Reformed British boy band Take That have invited former bandmate Robbie Williams to join them in the studio as they record their eagerly-awaited fourth studio album.

The Back For Good foursome have recently reunited for a sell-out UK tour following a 10-year hiatus and performed alongside a hologram of Williams, who is currently in the middle of his European tour.

The band signed with Polydor records last month to make a fourth album.

Howard Donald says: "We all hoped Rob would be able to join us on stage but he had his own tour and things got in the way - it's a real shame. But we speak all the time now and he knows the door's open if he wants to record with us or relive his Take That days in any way.

"We would love him to be on the album. Obviously he's got his solo stuff to focus on, but he hasn't ruled it out."
