Stones tour turmoil dismissed
Reports that the Rolling Stones' upcoming European tour has been put in jeopardy by guitarist Ronnie Wood have been quashed by the band, who insist shows will go ahead as planned.
Woods sparked fears the rockers would be unable to kick off tour dates in Spain in July after he checked himself into celebrity treatment centre The Priory, in London, earlier this week to battle his alcohol addiction.
The A Bigger Bang tour has already been delayed by two months after Keith Richards fell out of a tree while on holiday in Fiji in April and suffered head injuries.
However, band spokeswoman Fran Curtis rubbishes the rumours, saying: "The Stones are absolutely going ahead on tour beginning July 11 in Milan. "I can confirm that for you because I got a note saying see you all there."
