Bookies suspend betting on Big Brother newcomer

A new housemate looks set to enter the Big Brother house after a bookmaker suspended betting today on whether fresh blood is about to join the show.

William Hill said it had decided to close betting on the outcome after a “frantic” half hour of trading during which every call was for a new contestant to enter.
