Another outstanding performance from Norton, here playing an out-of-time cowboy who finds love with teenage Wood.

It's a conventional story about a man suddenly caught up in an impossible passion - made more so when the girl introduces him to her unpleasant family - but it is handled with care by director Jacobson.

However impossible the situation is, we are with Norton's character all the way.
