Elton's sitcom 'too hot for US', says Cattrall

Elton John's TV sitcom failed because its plot was too outrageous for US audiences, according to its star Kim Cattrall.

Him And Us, about an ageing gay musician and his entourage, was to star Cattrall and be produced by John. The show has failed to attract interest from any US networks, however.

"It would have been a great series," mused Cattrall. "But perhaps the subject matter might have been too much for some people."
