Richards 'ready to tour again'

Keith Richards is ready to tour again with the Rolling Stones, according to the wife of one of his bandmates.

The guitarist is recovering after undergoing head surgery after falling out of a palm tree.

The 62-year-old was discharged from a New Zealand hospital last week and is being monitored by doctors as an outpatient.

Jo Wood, wife of Keith's bandmate Ronnie, said the star was recovering well.

She said: "Keith's as strong as an ox…. He'll bounce back. Keith always does.

"He's fine and the tour will continue."

An announcement about the rescheduled tour dates is expected soon.
