Romantic comedy Prime has lots of family fun

Thurman finds herself in love with Bloomberg, who at 23 still lives with his grandparents. Her ‘therapist (Streep) tells her to keep the romance on track … until she learns that he’s her son and decides to wreck it.

Romantic comedies come in all shapes and sizes but this one, while trying to find something new to say, doesn’t quite stack up.

Thurman doesn’t look happy in her role and the otherwise consistently brilliant Streep still can’t quite manage comedy.
