Tarantino denies Hendrix biopic rumours

Cult director Quentin Tarantino has rubbished reports he is planning a big screen biopic of legendary guitar great Jimi Hendrix.

The film-maker insists rampant rumours about the project are unfounded, and denies ever linking himself to such a project.

And Tarantino is keen to stress his devotion to new movie 'Grind house', which is currently in production.

A representative for the director tells PageSix.com: "It's not a project Quentin has any involvement with, and his representatives have never been contacted by anyone associated with it."
