Bergerac is back

JOHN Nettles put Jersey, and himself, on the map in the successful detective series Bergerac (Cinema Club, €36.49) back in the 1980s.

If you thought crime couldn’t exist on such a small island, think again. Now, series one, comprising 10 episodes, is available with audio commentaries from Nettles and creator Robert Banks Stewart.

Still watchable despite the passage of years.
