WHO would have thought a documentary about Emperor penguins would captivate audiences worldwide?

Luc Jacquet’s March of the Penguins (Warner, €24.99) provokes the gamut of emotions as we are charmed, awed and saddened by these beautiful creatures as they go about their daily existence. Surprisingly enveloped in a scientific debate after it was championed by the American right, you can certainly watch this engrossing film on several levels. I’d rather just let the penguins do the talking.
