Guinness heir’s art treasures to be auctioned today
Hundreds of fine antiques and paintings belonging to Guinness heir Garech Browne are due to go under the hammer at his Luggala estate in Co Wicklow today.
The 400 lots being auctioned at the famous estate include paintings by Louis le Brocquy and Jack B Yeats.
An early Georgian longcase clock once owned by Irish architect Francis Johnstone is expected to fetch up to €500,000.
